We decline any order where the stated or apparent purpose falls outside this policy.

1. Research use only statement

All material supplied by NH Peptides is sold strictly as reference material for laboratory research use only.

Nothing listed on this website is a medicinal product. No product listed here holds a marketing authorisation from the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, and none has been assessed or approved by any regulator for safety, quality or efficacy in humans or in animals.

Material supplied by us is not:

  • A medicine, drug or medicinal product
  • A food, food ingredient, food supplement or novel food
  • A cosmetic or personal care product
  • A veterinary medicine or animal feed additive
  • A diagnostic product or medical device
  • Suitable or intended for administration to any human or animal, by any route, in any quantity

This restriction is absolute. It is not affected by a buyer’s profession, qualifications, intentions or country of residence, and it cannot be waived by us or by any member of our team.

2. Scope and status of this policy

This policy applies to every product listed on nhpeptides.co.uk, every order placed through it, and all documentation we supply, including certificates of analysis, storage and handling sheets and dispatch notes.

It forms part of our terms and conditions. Where anything published elsewhere on this website, in any communication from us, or in any third party listing appears to conflict with this policy, this policy takes precedence and the conflicting statement should be treated as withdrawn.

Placing an order confirms that you have read this policy, that you accept it, and that your intended use of the material falls within it.

3. Who may purchase

This website is not an offer to supply to the general public. Sale is restricted to persons aged 18 or over who are qualified researchers, or who purchase on behalf of a research institution, laboratory, university or business.

By placing an order you confirm that:

  • You are aged 18 or over
  • You are a qualified researcher, or you are purchasing on behalf of an organisation carrying out legitimate research
  • You have the training, facilities and equipment appropriate to handle the material safely
  • You will use the material only for laboratory research, and only in a controlled laboratory environment
  • You will not administer it, or permit it to be administered, to any human or animal
  • You will not resupply it to any person who is not entitled to receive it under this policy
  • The information you have given us, including the purpose of purchase, is accurate

These confirmations are given by you and relied on by us. We are not able to verify them independently, and a false confirmation does not transfer to us any liability arising from your use of the material.

4. Prohibited uses

The following are prohibited without exception. They are not permitted at any quantity, under any framing, and regardless of who is carrying them out.

  • Administration to any human being, including yourself, by any route
  • Administration to any animal, whether kept as livestock, as a companion animal or otherwise
  • Use in, or in preparation for, any clinical, therapeutic, diagnostic or preventative purpose
  • Use in the manufacture, compounding or formulation of any medicine, supplement, food or cosmetic
  • Resale, resupply or distribution to members of the general public
  • Resale or resupply for human or veterinary use, or to any party you have reason to believe intends such use
  • Repackaging, relabelling or presenting the material in a manner that suggests it is fit for human or veterinary use
  • Any use that would constitute placing a medicinal product on the market without authorisation

Buyers are also responsible for identifying and complying with any additional controls that apply to a specific compound, including controls under medicines legislation, the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016, sports anti-doping rules, and any export or sanctions controls relevant to onward movement of the material.

5. No dosing, protocol or medical guidance

We do not give dosing information, administration guidance, reconstitution instructions for use in a living subject, cycle or protocol design, or any advice relating to the effects of any compound in humans or animals. We will not do so on request, by email, by telephone, or through any social or messaging channel.

Where we publish technical information, it relates to identity, purity, molecular characteristics, solubility for analytical purposes, and laboratory storage and handling. It is provided so that researchers can assess the material for laboratory work. It is not guidance on use in any living subject and must not be read as such.

Nothing on this website is medical or veterinary advice. If you have a health concern, speak to a qualified healthcare professional. We are not able to help with questions of that kind, and enquiries of that nature will not receive a substantive reply.

6. Product information and claims

Product listings on this website describe what a compound is, the analytical work carried out on the lot, and how the material should be stored and handled in a laboratory. They do not describe what a compound does in a person or an animal.

Where a listing refers to a biological pathway, a receptor, a model system or an area of study, that reference identifies the field in which the compound is investigated. It is not a claim of any effect, benefit or outcome, and it must not be read as a suggestion that the compound is suitable for any use in a living subject.

Purity and identity figures relate to the specific lot they are published against and are supported by the certificate of analysis for that lot. They are analytical figures only and carry no implication of safety or suitability for any purpose beyond laboratory research.

If you believe any wording on this website could be read as a claim of human or veterinary benefit, please tell us and we will review it.

7. Handling, storage and disposal

Material is supplied lyophilised in sealed vials and is dispatched under cold chain conditions. From the point of delivery, responsibility for the material rests with you.

You are responsible for:

  • Storing material as set out on the storage and handling sheet supplied with your order
  • Assessing the hazards of the material before handling it, and using appropriate controls and protective equipment
  • Ensuring anyone handling the material in your organisation is trained and competent to do so
  • Meeting your obligations under health and safety and COSHH legislation
  • Disposing of unused material, vials and packaging lawfully and safely
  • Keeping the material secure and out of the reach of anyone not entitled to handle it

Material supplied by us has not been characterised for toxicological or safety purposes. Treat every compound as potentially hazardous and assess it accordingly before use.

8. Orders we will not accept

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, at any point before dispatch, at our sole discretion and without giving a reason. Where we do so, you are refunded in full.

We will refuse an order where, among other things:

  • The stated or apparent purpose falls outside laboratory research
  • An enquiry, message or order note refers to personal use, dosing, injection, a course or cycle, or an intended effect in a person or animal
  • The eligibility confirmations in section 3 appear not to be met
  • The delivery address, order pattern or payment details give us reasonable grounds for concern
  • We believe the material may be resupplied to the general public

Where a customer indicates an intention to use material contrary to this policy, we will decline the order and may decline to supply that customer in future. We may retain a record of the refusal, as described in our privacy policy.

9. Documentation and traceability

Every lot is analysed before release and is supplied with a certificate of analysis published against the lot number. Each vial label carries the compound, the labelled quantity and the lot number, so that the material on your bench can be matched to its documentation.

We maintain records linking supplied lots to the purchaser. These records exist so that, if an issue with a lot is identified after release, we can identify who received it and contact them. Retention periods are set out in our privacy policy.

If we identify a problem with a lot after it has been supplied, we will contact affected buyers directly. If you hold material from a lot we have contacted you about, stop using it and follow the instructions we give you.

10. Responsibility and liability

Material is supplied on the basis that you accept full responsibility for its use once it is delivered to you, and for compliance with every law that applies to your work.

We accept no liability for loss, damage, injury or legal consequence arising from any use of material supplied by us that falls outside laboratory research, or from any failure to handle, store or dispose of it appropriately. This includes any use prohibited under section 4, whether by you or by any person to whom you pass the material.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Your statutory rights as a consumer, where they apply, are unaffected.

11. Reporting a concern

If you become aware of material supplied by us being offered, described or used in a way that conflicts with this policy, please tell us. That includes resale to the public, listings that present the material as fit for human use, and any content that attributes a human or veterinary benefit to a compound we supply.

We take reports of this kind seriously and will investigate. Where appropriate we will withdraw supply, and we will cooperate with the relevant authorities where we are required to.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the law, in regulatory guidance, or in the material we supply. The version published on this page at the time you place your order is the version that applies to that order. Material changes will be published here with a revised date below.

To contact us about this policy:

Written correspondence can be sent to our business address, which we will provide on request.

Effective date: 02/09/2026. Last updated: 02/09/2026.
